What is an rCFO?

Overview

“rCFO“ stands for a regenerative CFO who uses integrated thinking and works collaboratively with other stakeholders to implement principles of regenerative finance. Our 5-Pillar regenerative finance framework will help CFOs and their teams produce and use ESG metrics and sustainability strategies to adopt integrated management and decision making principles to produce positive outcomes for the organization, society, and the planet.

5 Pillars

We curate the best regenerative finance content in the world and place that content within our 5-Pillar Framework. It consists of 1) Governance and Risk Mitigation, 2) Context for Science-Based Goal Setting, 3) Corporate Decision Systems for ESG Innovation, 4) Sustainability Financing, and 5) External Reporting, IR & Advocacy, including details on the SEC’s New Climate Rule and Human Capital Proposal (slated for 2023).

6 Capitals Framework

The 21st Century Business needs to go beyond simply focusing on making a profit. Business needs to also be about purpose. Businesses can make either a negative (extractive) or positive (regenerative) impact in the world. Balanced stake-holder approaches to business will dominate over the next decade and the INTEGRATE Community and Conference will showcase comprehensive approaches to integrating multi-capital business models and approaches to evolve the traditional finance function into a Regenerative Finance function.
